    One strange story is told in connection with one fort in Rhyne. A man named Peter Brady was passing close to the fort when he saw a crowd of people coming to meet him. He stepped across a fence to hide. As the people were passing his hiding place they suddenly stopped and from their conversation he found out that they were carrying some burden which they laid on the ground. The fairies or good people asked each other "who will carry this now". One of them answered "who but Peter Brady" naming the person who was hidden inside the fence
