    as a cure for a sore throat or slight cough. A herb commonly called cumphry is a cure for sprains.
    To use the dandelion it cut and boiled for three quarters of an hour and then strained. When the water is cold it is bottled and taken each morning before breakfast.
    The water-cress when washed is placed in a large delph bowl and covered with water. Three tea spoonfuls of sugar to each pint of water are added and left for twenty-four hours. When it becomes creamy and thick half a glass is to be taken each morning before breakfast. After a few doses it is known to cure.
