    Local Jumpers

    There were a number of remarkable jumpers in this district of Granard, Co. Longford, but two of the most famous were Doctor Cusack of this town of Granard, and John Walker of Clonbroney, Granard
    Doctor Cusack could do a jump seven feet high, and eight feet wide and Walker could do one six feet high, and twelve feet wide.
