DANDELION ROOTS-is useful for liver and kidney trouble.
COMFREY ROOT-is a remedy in cases of bleeding of the lungs,stomach or from bleeding piles. A strong tea should be made of the comfrey and wineglass taken four times a day until the bleeding has ceased.
IVY- When ivy is minced and used as a poultice for gatherings and bealdings it is considered a good cure.
A CURE FOR ASTHMA- Collect the blackheads when ripe, pick the stems off, put the blackheads into a vessel, cover with water, bring to the boil and let it simmer slowly for about twelve hours. Take up strain, add sufficient sugar - a candy to the liquid to sweeten, then return to the fire again and boil for fifteen minutes. Take up, add ground ginger and a glass of whiskey(continues on next page)
