    Local Ruins
    There are many old ruins in my district but the ones I know best are Beglins old house Feriskel, Webs Coolarty, Polards old house Toneywarden and Brannans old house Leitrim.
    Beglins house is on the main road from Granard to Edgeworthstown and it is a very old ruin now.
    The roof was taken off the time of the Black and Tans and then the people left it and then the walls got bad and the sashes of the windows rotted and the glass fell and was broken.
