    The way to play Ring a Ring a Rosey is, a ring of children swing round and say. Ring a Ring a Rosey packet full of posies last my lass pop down and the child that is down last has to turn her back then you swing round again and you say. Shame Shame turn your back for shame and you say her name.
    The way to play marbles is you make a hole in the ground and you stay ten yards away from the hole. Then five boys have five marbles each and they have to stand at the ten yards mark. Then they throw one marble one after another and every three marbles each boy throws into the hole it is called an ace and if you only get one it is called a third but you only have to get ten aces and the game is finished.
    I play other games during the summer months these games are Scittles, Frog in the middle jump
