    be seen in that graveyard The cromwellians built a Protestant church in that graveyard. There are alot of graves in the old Abbeylara graveyard. There are graves under the Arch of the old monastery.
    Catholics bury there still. No Protestants bury in it. No strangers are allowed to bury in it.
    There are some very old headstones in that graveyard. The oldest dates on them are 1,104, 1,216, 1764, 1784 and 1824.
    The graveyard beside the Abbeylara Parish Church is called The new graveyard. This is the graveyard we bury in.
    Most people in the upper end of the parish bury in this graveyard.
