- (continued from previous page)to the house on a side car and one of the lads played a fiddle. They do not do that now. Long ago there was one house that someone was getting married out of, and the band beggers came to the house. They were very unmannerly. They broke the windows of the house. They even pulled out the frames out of the windows. They stuck in graipes over the cap of the door and the people got an awful fright. They smashed the doors too and the destroyed the whole house. Some of the people got slipping out of the house and went and told the guards about the band-beggers. After a while three guards came behind them and summoned them all and brought them to court the next morning.
