is said to have had much misfortune for interfering with the field that the well was in.
    Told by Patrick Cosgrove,
    Main St.
    Longford who
heard it from his mother Mrs. Cosgrove
Notes The man who owned the field where the well originally was, is still alive. His name is Mister O Reilly. The way the stones are build over the well is always a sounrce of intersect to visitors. The stones are shaped like a beehive and are apparently without any support.
Mrs. Jas. Cosgrove, age 48 years
    Main St.,
    Longford.
