    He had a sister married in County Westmeath. She got very ill and he went to see her, and when he was going home he told the people of the house to send for him if she died as he would like to attend the funeral.
    One day when he was going to the bog for a paradog of turf he saw a well dressed man coming towards him. When the man reached him he asked him was his name Conor Caughlin? Conor said it was and he told Conor his sister was dead. Conor said he would like to attend the funeral but his clothes were too bad. He
