    dancing. Food and refreshments are given in abundance to everybody.
    In the evening it is the custom for some of the young boys of the district to dress in suits of straw and they all come to the house and dance the bride in their turns. These men are called band beggars.
    Then the newly married couple go away for a holiday. The bridemaids cut up the remainder of the cake and send it to the friends and relations who did not attend the wedding.
