  1. The local fairs of this district are held in Edgeworthstown.
    There are two fairs held in each month, a fair for pigs, and a fair for horses and sheep.
    The pig fair is held on the second Friday of the month and the cattle fair is held on the third Monday of the month. All the fairs are held in the fair green.
    The pigs are brought to the fairs in carts and some people who live near the town drive
