- (continued from previous page)his way. One time a man gave Farrell a punch in the side. He worked until he was able to work no more. In the morning he went home to Bunlahy, where he lived. He told his mother about what happened him and he went to bed. One day a young man, that he didn't know, came in and asked him what was on him. This man told him (Farrell) that the doctor would be with him the next day. When the doctor came his mother wasn't at home and he had a lot of rags tied round him. The doctor cut the rags and pulled a big long needle out of his side. When his mother came home he was sitting at the fire, and he well.
- Once there was a man going home off his ceilid. A band of fairies came riding horses. They asked the man to go with them, but they said he would have not to speak a word. He said he had no horse. Just then a young calf ran through his legs and carried him off. The calf jumped(continues on next page)
