    6. The "Blessed Virgin's Leaf" will stop bleeding, because when our Blessed Lady was going to Calvary, she cut her foot and she stopped the blood with this leaf. There are dark red spots on the leaf ever since.
    7. If a dog bites you pull a few hair out of his tail and put them to the wound to cure it.
    (There's a very common saying in the district, "He wants a hair out of the dog that bit him", used especially with reference to a man in need of a "healer" after "the night before".)
    When you see the new moon, if you have warts on your hands, close your eyes and lift the first thing you meet. Rub to warts & they will go.
