    One day it is said he asked a woman to fry and mackrel for "Shep". It was roasted but burned, and Jim said "suerly when you can't cook for a dog you can't cook for a Christian.

  2. My Home District.
    My home district is the Hook in the parish of Templetown. It is in the barony of Shelburne. There approximately one hundred and sixty families living in our district. Colfer and Barry are the most common names.
