    7. Sprains
    Vinegar mixed with bran make a cooling poultice for night. Chop up comfrey, mix with white of egg apply to sprain.
    8. Scurvy } Drink lime water and eat green vegetables.
    9. Boils } Poultice with sugar and soap.
    10. Cuts } The youngest lancelot leaf of the dock contains a quantity of sticky matter. Put then this leaf, 'sticky side 'in' to the cut
    11. Consumption } Eat dandelion -the flower to be -for its herbal milk.
    12. Cuts } Chop penny leaves, boil with lard, strain . Ointment for cuts however deep.
    13. To heal sores } Chop up laurel leaves, boil in fresh lard and some fresh butter Ointment for healing sores.
    14. " Bright's disease" 'Parsley Tea' } Take a bunch of parsley, boil and draw. This is called 'Parsley Tea', a cure for "Bright's disease"
    15. For Nettle Stings } Put spittle on a dock leaf and apply to blister-relieves the pain.
