    "Nutsy May" in not played much now
    It is played in the following manner.
    An exact number of girls get on each side. One side commences the game by saying "here we go gathering "Nutsy May" all on a Christmas morning."
    The other side answer, "who will we take for Nutsy May."
    The first side says "we"ll take (here some one on the opposite row is named) for 'Nutsy May'
    "Who will you send to take her away."
    They then name some one on their own side. The two girls pull and which ever one wins both girls must go to that side.
    Hunt the Fox is played in this manner:-
    One girl goes to hide. The others go hunt for her and they chase her away across the fields until they catch her.
    Thimble is played in the following manner: all the players but one sit down and join their hands. The other girl gets a stone and she puts her hand through the joined hands of the others and leaves the stone in some ones hand. She asks some who has the thimble and if the girl she names
