  1. There are lots of signs and beliefs in this district as regard to the weather and I will give an account of them.
    A southern wind is for rain, a west wind is for showers and an wind is for a storm.
    It is said a rain bow or a rain "jall" [teacher's note- rain jall is a bit of a rainbow] are signs of showers.
    A ring around the moon or the sun is a sure sign of rain.
    There is an old saying about the rainbow and here
