    At the time of the Anglo-Irish Truce my Father James Shortall met two friends in the Bullring, Wexford and exchanged a few remarks about the weather and the times that were in it when Brown one of his friends said, "Let us join and have a bottle".
    They agreed on this point and my daddy said, "Where shall we go?". "We'll go in to Pat" and in they went to Pat Corcoran's Public House.
    Brown called for three bottles and the same order was repeated by the rest of course.
