    In the course of conversation in the pub the state of the county was discussed and after a long argument my daddy remarked that "If the people have sense now and carry on there ought to be plenty of work for everybody".
    His friend Brown taking his glass of porter from his head interrupted and said, "No be the mortail God" they should give no man the job only the man that died for his country."
