  2. Some May Day customs still used in this district are
    On May Day no farmer's wife in the district would give away butter or milk for nothing because they would lose the profit of the dairy for a whole year.
    Lots of people here collect the dew early on May morning and put it in a bottle as this is supposed to cure any sickness for the year. Another belief in this district is, if people are afraid of having bad churnings during the
