I have also heard from Mr John Carberry of Litterbeg that Rev. Dr Ranson Professor of Greek etc. in St Peter's College Wexford took away for safe preservation the cross of the old church at Killincooley.
He is also reported to have discovered some OGHAM tablets at the "old castle" at Dundrum, which by the way is reported to have been a very important ecclesiastical centre in the old days.
It is stated that a Bishop once had his See there.
