There are several residents in this area, over fifty years of age who state who solemnly aver that strange lights have been seen and weird noises heard. One point is worthy of mention here - everyone who has seen this ghost, quite agree in their description of the "Tall man in Black" with his head bent low, as if he were looking for something on the ground.
They also fully agree in the account and description of the "Hooded woman", and all agree as to the correct [correction?] location of the apparition.
I have it from an old resident of this area that some of the urns found lately in this spot were taken away by Rev. Dr. Ranson a native of this district - who is by the way an authority on matters of Folklore.
