  1. Fairy Tales of the Sea
    Told by Mr. Syl O'Brien of Upton Kilmuckridge aged 40 yrs. He has these stories from his father & father inlaw / both of whom lived to a great age (-- 90 yrs)
    There is a tradition that a brown rigged vessel sails into the land near Morriscastle / always before every big storm. The crew can be heard hauling their boat in to the shore and cries & wails can also be heard.
