    Traditional stories of local men who fought in 1798.
    This story was told to me by Mr. Thaddeus O'Loughlin of Drummond
    Michael O'Loughlin.
    Michael was the great-grandfather of Thady Loughlin who lives in Drummond Lane. After the incident at White's house Michael joined the insurgents and fought at Tubberneering.
    On the evening of the fight he and a friend were coming home to see their families when they unexpectedly met a troop of Yeomen.
