    than they are at present. The ruins of a great many houses are to be seen in our district, but I am not able to find out who lived in any of them because they are all very old.
    The land is fairly level and good and barley is the chief crop that is, sown in it.
    There are about 50 people in Ballyroebuck, Ronans is the most common name. There are four families of them, they are not living in Ballyroebuck but they are on the border of it. Some of these Ronans are in America.
