- There was a woman in Carlow some time ago and she used never go to Mass. One Sunday she took a notion to go to Mass. She was very inqusitive, and the Church was being repaired, and she wanted to know all about it. So on Sunday morning she started off to the church to hear Mass.
As she went along she found some pennies and she stopped thinking for some time.
In the later end she said "Begor I will give it to the priest
As she went along further she found some more pennies and stopped and looked at them, and in about three yards further on.
She found no more but when she reached the church she met the people coming from the church
She looked at the pennies but she had nothing only a fist-full of leaves.
