The worst place in Ireland is at Byrne's of Doonooney.

The worst place in Ireland is at Byrne's of Doonooney.
'Twouldn't be safe to be out there late at night man.
I know a man named Morrissey and he wouldn't be afraid of the divil.
He got up one morning to go to the fair about two o'clock, and when he came to Byrne's kiln the jennet he had wouldn't pass by, and Morrissey jumped out of the car with his stick in his hand, and sez he "Cum up here ow that, let yeh be the divil or whoever yare and I'll tache yeh to let me pass."
Well nobody knew what he saw, but would you belave me, his whole body was as black as that pipe I have in my hand for a whole month after, and he toud me if I was ever out late to go ten miles of a round sooner that pass that way.
