- There is a Holy Well in Barmoney. This well is in a field, the property of James Laffan, Kereight, Ballyhogue, Co. Wexford. Many people got cured by visiting this well. These people that got cured used to walk around this well a number of times and say prayers at the same time. When they had this done they used to drink some water from it; and when they were going away from it, it was usual for them to leave a medal ir a beads.People used to get water from this well for home use. The owner of the field told them not to take any water from this well for home use because no one could be cured if the water was taken for home use.
- There is a holy Well in Ballybrennan. It is not more than four feet in depth. The patron Saint is St. Cole.(continues on next page)
