    Thrush. Long ago the thrush was cured by getting honey and putting the honey in the person's mouth and it will cure the thrush.
    Whooping Cough. A person can be cured of the whooping cough by walking along until you meet a with a grey horse. Ask the man for some thing that he would have then give it to the person with the whooping cough.
    If the person with the grey horse has nothing he tells the person to give the child something.
    A Dog Bite. One cure is to get the dog shot, some people would pull out a hair out of the dog that bit you and put it on the cut. After some time the cut would heal.
    Backache. Long ago people cured the backache by getting a plant called the "Marsh Marigold", (Flagger) and boil the leaves. Then put the leaves in a cloth and let them steam where the pains are and the steam will cure
