Travelling folk travel mostly on cars in which they carry their goods. The greater number of the travelling folk travel in families. Power is the name of the family that mostly frequents this district. Quirkes, Stokes and Caseys are the names of other families who are well known in this district. These (tradi) travelling folk do not tell stories to the local people but they bring news from other parts of Ireland.
