    the Broughall road a mile and a half from Kilcormac where a man was driving an engine in the night and he fell ff and the engine ran over him and killed him. Long ago the cross-roads were great meeting places for the yoth. They used to have music and dancing and often they played games. At the present time they are still meeting places and boys are to be seen at them in their leisure hours pitching money, weight throwing, dancing and enjoying themselves in other ways.
