    Local Poets.
about eighty years ago when he died. He was buried in Killought graveyard. He was the only poet in the family. The name of one song was "Round Mahans' Corner".
They were farmers and had no other trade. He was about Thirty years old when he began to make poetry. One song is still sung locally. Every one looked upon him as a famous man. He was a great reader and writer. Every one said that there was not a scholar in the family except himself.
