    the "Island" in years passed to America, England, and Australia and France. There is no song or saying about the townsland. It is not hilly or bogy but the land is flat and fertile. There are no woods growing in it. There is one river called the Silver river in which salmon and trout is caught. There are no lakes but one stream which we call the cut. There is no story about it.
