    butter away", that there will no butter come on the milk. Everybody that comes in takes a hand at the churning. Buttermilk is used for bread making. It is always the custom to take a drink of it after it is churned. Scalded butter milk is good for a cold. Buttermilk is also given to calves and pigs.
