    a knob on the top of the straw. The thatcher fastens the thatch on the roof with the scollops he drives them in with a wooden mallet. When he has the thatching done he evens the eves with a knife and he brushes off the loose straw.
    There is a lime kiln not far from this district. Lime stone is burned and lime is got. Lime is used for whitewashing houses in this district.
    The people around this locality go fishing and fowling on Sundays.
