When Processions are held in the towns in this district the people bring out their pictures of the Sacred Heart and leave them on the window and place flowers and lights in some of them some people make little altars outside their houses on these occasions. Most people in the district wear Sacred Heart Badges or pins in their coats to preserve them from danger.
    Harps and shamrocks are Worn on the 17th of March in honour of St Patrick
