  2. There is a mountain not far from this place called Barr Leatan. About the 1880 year there was a terrible thunder storm and terrific rain. This mountain bursted on one side. It covered the whole country side. It moved down and took houses. There were the people living in a house called the Mitchells, and these were all drowned. It took sheep and cattle down before it. When it came to Cadamstown the bridge was not able to take and
