Ever since this every smith that washes his hands in the water that cools his irons feels refreshed and made better.

- The saint which is traditionally connected with this district is St Cuddy. The townsland in which he lived is called after him Killmacuddy. He had a monastry there and in this he lived.Beside the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
