    shilling. Some people used to work before they would get the breakfast and they would get the supper early. The name of one of the men that used to go around with the tea was Mr. Lenihan, Cadamstown, Co. Offaly. Only very few people used to eat late at night before they went to bed.
    When they would make the bread they used to bake it on a griddle. The farmer used to grind the wheat themselves to make the bread.
