Every nation on the earth has special prayers peculiar to its people but Ireland surpasses all in its collection of prayers. The following are some prayers which I collected from my mother and some neighbours.
Morning Prayers -
(1) O' my God my only good the author of my being in my last end I give Thee my Heart. Praise honour and glory be to Thee for ever and ever Amen.
(2) I arise from this bed of sleep. To adore my God and to labour for the Salvation of my own soul. Oh, may I arise on the Last Day to live ever-lasting Amen.(continues on next page)- Collector
