2). Same as (1) but prick the sty with the thorn (Mrs McCall Killatoggorf + several others).
3). "Put a gild wedding ring to the sty + say in the name of the Fr. of the Son of the H. G.
(Mrs. Ferris Ballinakill). - Erysipelas
"Whiskey + flour will cure erysipelas. Get a feather + rub on the whiskey to the place that is affected: then dust on the gloves over it."
