   Since we lost poor Fr. Mullens, the Curate of Clonmore.

   As for worthy Fr. Kelly, he has reason to lament
   On the duty of his parish out day and night he went.
   And in the execution of the same great slavery he bore
   He may well be regretted in Kilquiggan and Clonmore.

   IV
   He may be well regretted by this country at large
   He was a sturdy pilor unto St. Peter's barge
   He was torn from our helm, we may now run on shore
   As we lost poor Fr. Mullens, the curate of Clonmore.

   V
   His friends from the King's County, they came all in disguise
   And stole his humble remains, unto our sad surprise
   But as the people mustered up and down to make a silent moan
   They now weep at his hollow grave at the Chapel of Clonmore.

   VI
   The deaf, the dumb, the lame, the blind it's now they may complain
   And likewise these debilited that feel the inward pain
   And those wth other wounds and sears may welter in their gore
   They come wandering through the country inquiring for Clonmore.

   VIII.
   Now to conclude and make an end all ye good people pray
   That he may be kept in memory until the Judgement Day
