- One time there were a race in Ballybrack. It was very fine when the people were going. A man was there from Ballynasillogue. At last it started raining and the man started for home. He had to pass by the mill. There was a flood up, and he went to cross the river, the horse and car were swept by the floor. The man clung on to the bridge and the men pulled him up. The horse was found in Ballynasillogue and the car was found in Haroldstown.
