- In Castleruddery, there is a ring of stones - huge big stones. These may have enclosed a pagan castle. At what would appear the entrance, there are two, very large, white flint stones, and the other stones forming the circle are granite.
These stones were brought there - because there is no granite or no flint in the soil in the district, - it is all limestone. Any one of these big stones would weigh, at least 5 tons. They are very probably there from pre-Christian times - so the question is - how did they get there? By some Supernatural power, I'd say.
