- A man, named Lawlor, of Talbotstown, was going from Talbotstown to Kiltegan with a nurse one night. When he was coming home across Barraderry Bridge, the horse would not cross the bridge, no matter what he did. He went back to Kiltegan and told the priest what had happened. He thought he was drunk and only laughed at him, and told him to go on home about his business, as there was nothing on the road to touch him.He started off again, but when he came to the very same place on the bridge, the horse(continues on next page)
