______________________A WellThere is a well, on the side of the road near where the present Mr Geoghegan, of Talbotstown lives. The well was noted for cures of sores.Once, there were travellers passing, and they thought that along that road was a good place to camp for a couple of nights, so they stopped there. Before they left, one woman washed clothes in the well, and the well went dry. There never was a drop of water in it after.(continues on next page)- Informant
