Ar an leathanach seo
- The oldest road we have in this district is in glenmalure. It wasd used mostly during the '98 Rebellion. The millatery used it in hopes of capturing Michael Dwyer, Feach Mac Hugh o Byrne and other Irish chieftans of that period.
At an early period it is said that this road was the only connecting road with Dublin and Wexford.
It leads from Dublin across the Dublin mountains into the Wicklow mountains crossing both Wicklow gaps one in the south and the other in the north. This road is used for test trials on motor cycles as it is the heavier road to travel in the county.
