The seventh son or daughter has a cure for ringworm.
In the west of Ireland the people have a cure for ringworm. This is the cure:- When the seventh son or seventh daughter is born a worm is placed on the palm of his or her hand, if she had the cure the worm dies immediately, and any person who has a ringworm goes to that person and makes three visits, one a Monday and Thursday and Monday again.
