    The Raheen in Moneyteigue
Daddy told me a fairy tale which happened in this vicinity. In the townland of Moneyteigue which is situated near Croghan Mountain in the south of County Wicklow is a raheen in which fairies are supposed to have lived. This raheen is situated in Mr. Murphy's field.
One day Mr. Murphy asked his workman to plough this raheen but he refused.
So he ploughed it himself. That night when he was going home to supper, he fell off a stile and broke his neck.
